FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) The Atlanta Falcons have signed wide receiver Freddie Martino from their practice squad to the active roster.

The team released wide receiver Courtney Roby to clear a roster spot.

Martino signed with Atlanta as an undrafted free agent out of North Greenville in May and spent the first five weeks of the season on the practice squad.

Roby had one catch for 11 yards in four games with Atlanta this season. He was a third-round pick by Tennessee in the 2005 draft.
