Colts leave 3 injured players behind

Published Nov. 14, 2013 1:07 a.m. ET

Three injured Indianapolis players will not travel to Tennessee with the rest of the team.

The Colts said Wednesday that cornerbacks Josh Gordy and Greg Toler and safety Delano Howell were all ruled out of Thursday's crucial contest between the top two teams in the AFC South.

Toler, a starter, and Gordy, a backup, will both miss their third straight games because of groin injuries. Indy's pass defense has given up four TD passes of 40 or more yards since they went out.

Howell, a backup, will miss Thursday night's game with a neck injury.
