Broncos DT explains why Denver will never truly replace Peyton Manning

Published Nov. 15, 2016 2:34 p.m. ET

In the final season of Peyton Manning's NFL career, he was nothing like the Peyton Manning we'll all remember.

Manning threw for 2,249 yards and had 17 interceptions to go with only nine touchdowns. He started only nine games because he lost his job during the middle of the season, and when he got it back, he was merely a traffic cop in the Broncos' Super Bowl run.

So, in football terms, 2015 Peyton Manning will certainly be replaceable.

In reality, Manning was much more than that to the Broncos. Defensive tackle Sylvester Williams went on SiriusXM NFL Radio and explained what Denver will miss most about Manning and why they'll never truly replace him.
