Thunder, Victor Oladipo reportedly agree to lucrative four-year extension

Victor Oladipo has played only three games for the Oklahoma City Thunder, but the 24-year-old shooting guard has already shown enough for the team to make a lucrative financial investment in him.

The Thunder has agreed to a four-year, $84 million deal with Oladipo, The Vertical reported Monday. Oklahoma City acquired Oladipo from the Magic -- along with forwards Ersan Ilyasova and Domantas Sabonis -- over the summer for forward Serge Ibaka.

The deadline to reach agreement on a contract extension with players who were drafted in 2013 is Monday at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Oladipo, who was taken second overall by Orlando in 2013, has averaged 15.9 points with 4.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists during his four-year career. The Thunder hope the combination of Oladipo and Russell Westbrook will form one of the most dynamic backcourts in the league.
