Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell weirdly criticized Kevin Durant as KD destroyed the Thunder
Most people watching Kevin Durant roast his former team on Thursday night had the same reaction: That young man is a very, very good professional basketball player. But Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell is not most people.
KD dropped 39 points on the Oklahoma City Thunder and Russell Westbrook, leading his Golden State Warriors to a 122-96 win. And while everyone on Twitter was praising KD, Bell went the other direction:
Huh. I mean, I guess that's fair, to a certain extent. Durant couldn't prevent the Thunder from blowing a 3-1 lead in last year's Western Conference finals, so someone might reasonably question his ability on the biggest stage. It's not at all a fair criticism, but it's at least understandable.
Then Bell took things a step further, and this is where we diverge completely:
Nope. That is categorically not true. Sorry, Le'Veon, but KD is the second-best player in the NBA. Unless we're talking about a different sport, there's no way Westbrook is the better player.
