DeMarcus Cousins apparently has no idea who Paul McCartney is

The Sacramento Kings will begin their tenure in a brand new arena named Golden 1 Center starting next season, but the venue opened this month with a special concert from Paul McCartney.

That show presumably had a lot of big, familiar names in attendance, but Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins was not among them. The chief reason? Because Cousins has no idea who McCartney even is.

If you somehow also fall into that category, here's a brief explainer: Once upon a time, Paul McCartney was a member of The Beatles (ever heard of them?) before launching a very successful solo career and is one of the most celebrated songwriters and musicians of this generation.
