Tim Hardaway Jr. returned to Hawks practice Monday after playing with Atlanta’s D-League affiliate, the Canton Charge, Friday and Saturday.
“It took a lot of weight off my shoulders on a positive note,” said Hardaway, via MyAJC.com. “There is no negativity. I knew what the objective was – to go down there and get some reps and help the Canton team out. I took it as an opportunity for myself to get better."
For the Charge, Hardaway scored 17.0 points per game with 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists. He was, however, just 1-of-14 from 3-point range.

In only four NBA games in 2015, Hardaway has 2.5 points with 1.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists over 11.1 minutes. Hardaway was asked if he’d be willing to return to the D-League at some point.
“You have to do whatever you can and what’s best for the team. It all depends on what Coach Bud wants me to do," said Hardaway, in the report.
