Remains out to start postseason
Coach Frank Vogel said Friday that Lee (knee) remains out to start the postseason, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Impact
Lee missed the entire 2023-24 regular season but hopes to return during the postseason. Even if he gets the green light, the veteran guard isn't guaranteed a rotational role, especially if the Suns are playing well.

Hopes to return in postseason
Coach Frank Vogel said Wednesday that Lee (knee) has done some lighting, and while he isn't expected to return before the end of the regular season, the Suns hope to have him back...
Impact
Lee will likely miss the entire 2023-24 regular season due to a right knee injury. Even if Lee can return for playoff action, it remains to be seen if he will factor into Phoenix's rotation.

ROTOWIRE
Another absence coming
Lee (knee) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Cavaliers.
Impact
Lee has yet to suit up this season while recovering from right knee surgery. It is unclear if Lee will take the floor before the end of the 2023-24 campaign.

ROTOWIRE
Still out
Lee (knee) is out for Monday's game against the Pelicans.
Impact
Lee has yet to make an appearance this season, so his absence doesn't impact the rotation. The veteran guard remains without a clear timetable for return.

Remains out against OKC
Lee (knee) is out for Friday's game against the Thunder, Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com reports.
Impact
Lee has yet to resume on-court activities and has no clear timetable for his return, so he might end up missing the rest of the regular season and possibly the playoffs as well. The veteran guard has yet to play in 2023-24.

ROTOWIRE
Remains out indefinitely
Lee (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the 76ers, and there's no timetable for his return.
Impact
The last substantial update from coach Frank Vogel came in mid-February, when he said Lee, who had meniscus surgery last October, has yet to resume on-court work. However, the Suns remained hopeful the veteran would return by the end of the regular season. The signing of Isaiah Thomas to a 10-day deal could be a sign that Phoenix is growing less optimistic about Lee suiting up this campaign. Last season, his first with the Suns, Lee averaged 8.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 three-points and 1.4 assists in 20.4 minutes per game across 74 appearances.

Still not working out on court
Head coach Frank Vogel said Monday that Lee (knee) has yet to resume on-court work, but the Suns remain hopeful that the 31-year-old will play before the end of the regular season,...
Impact
The Suns aren't putting an official timeline on Lee making his 2023-24 season, but based on Vogel's comments, the veteran wing isn't on track to be available coming out of the All-Star break, and a mid-to-late March or early April return may be a more realistic target at this point. If Phoenix isn't dealing with any injuries to their other key guards or wings by the time Lee is ready to play, he'll likely find himself on the outside looking in for a rotation spot. In his first season with Phoenix in 2022-23, Lee appeared in 74 contests and averaged 8.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 three-pointers and 1.4 assists in 20.4 minutes per game.

Still far from return
Lee (knee) is still a "ways away" from returning but hopes to see action before the end of the regular season, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Impact
Lee has yet to take the court this season as he continues to recover from a right knee surgery he underwent in September. The 31-year-old guard is still waiting to resume on-court activities and seems at least a few months away from being able to see game action.

Yet to begin on-court work
Lee (knee) remains out with no timetable to return following late September surgery on his right meniscus, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Impact
Lee underwent meniscus repair surgery in his right knee in the final week of September. Opting to repair his tissue as opposed to trimming the meniscus does come with a longer recovery window, and coach Frank Vogel noted Wednesday that Lee is still firmly in the rehab stage while doing "no on-court work" and being "a ways away" from returning to action. The 31-year-old is 13 weeks removed from being ruled out indefinitely, and he is best regarded as week-to-week until reports emerge of Lee ramping up activity.

Out indefinitely with knee injury
Lee suffered a right knee injury and will be out until further notice, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Impact
Rankin relays that Lee is believed to have suffered a meniscus injury during a recent workout at the team's training facility. The severity remains unclear, but this is certainly an issue that could sideline him for the first few weeks of the regular season. Lee likely wasn't on fantasy radars anyway, but in his presumed absence, Grayson Allen, Eric Gordon and Jordan Goodwin are candidates for increased roles behind Bradley Beal and Devin Booker.

Nice performance in limited action
Lee finished Wednesday's 132-101 victory over Oklahoma City with nine points (3-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal in 16 minutes.
Impact
Lee's role has taken a hit since Devin Booker returned from injury and Kevin Durant (ankle) joined the team, but he's still in coach Monty Williams' gameplan and has appeared in every game this season. He's capped out at 16 minutes over the past seven games, averaging 6.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 13.0 minutes.

Starting Thursday
Lee will enter the first unit for Thursday's game against Atlanta, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Impact
Lee will make his fifth appearance in the starting lineup this season with the newly acquired Kevin Durant (knee), T.J. Warren and Darius Bazley unavailable and Devin Booker (groin) sidelined for the opening leg of the Suns' back-to-back set. In his first four games with the starters, Lee averaged 12.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 29.9 minutes.

Scores 11 points off bench
Lee supplied 11 points (4-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 19 minutes during Monday's 114-106 win over the Raptors.
Impact
Lee came off the bench and scored in double figures for the second time over his last four games and 17th time this season. The veteran guard is having a solid start to his first season in Phoenix and will likely continue garnering a solid role off the bench while Devin Booker (groin), Cameron Payne (foot) and Landry Shamet (foot) all remain out.

Back to bench
Lee will move back to the bench for Sunday's game against Memphis.
Impact
With Chris Paul (hip) back in action, Lee will cede his spot in the lineup after a pair of spot starts. The Louisville product averaged 17.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.5 threes over his last six games, and while his role will likely decline with Paul back, Lee should still be in line for a decent workload on a nightly basis.

Will start Thursday
Lee will start Thursday against the Nets.
Impact
Lee will make his third start with the Suns on Thursday, replacing Landry Shamet (foot) in the starting lineup. The veteran guard has played exceptionally well in his last four games, averaging 18.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 28.5 minutes of action.

Blows up for season-high 31 points
Lee finished with 31 points (10-17 FG, 6-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds and two assists across 31 minutes during Friday's 121-116 loss to the Timberwolves.
Impact
Lee connected on six triples in the loss, en route to a season-high 31 points. The Suns are running thin at the moment, affording significant playing time to guys like Lee. He has now scored at least 20 points in two of his past three games, presenting as a viable streaming option, at least until the team starts getting its main guys back on the floor.
