ImpactStory is set to miss one day more than the minimum with his right elbow inflammation, as the Rockies don't play Monday, the first day he'd be eligible to return. Brendan Rodgers has handled shortstop in his absence, but Story should return to his everyday role once healthy.

Whether he's dealing with a minor injury or has simply fallen out of favor is not yet clear. The latter would certainly make some sense, as he's gone 3-for-40 with 21 strikeouts in his last 15 games. Hunter Wood - Shifts to 60-day injured listWood (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday.

ImpactWood hit the 10-day injured list in late May with an elbow issue which has since been diagnosed as a mild UCL sprain. The injury is evidently serious enough to keep him out for at least two months, so he won't return until late July at the earliest. The transaction clears a spot on the Rangers' 40-man roster for the team to claim Tyson Miller off waivees.

ImpactBenjamin has already spent three separate stints on the Rangers' roster this season.
