Kevin Kramer - Dealt to MilwaukeeKramer was traded from the Pirates to the Brewers on Sunday in exchange for left-hander Nathan Kirby, Jake Crouse of MLB.com reports.
ImpactKramer had a slim chance to break camp with the Pirates this spring, but he was assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis to begin the year. He hit .196 with three home runs, 22 RBI and 19 runs across 51 minor-league games, and he'll now serve as organizational depth for the Brewers. The 27-year-old made appearances with the Pirates in 2018 and 2019, and he could join the big-league club in a depth role at some point.

Nathan Kirby - Traded to PiratesKirby was traded from the Brewers to the Pirates on Sunday in exchange for Kevin Kramer, Jake Crouse of MLB.com reports.
ImpactKirby has dealt with several injuries early in his career, but he returned to the mound in May after he hadn't pitched since September of 2018. He made 17 relief appearances for Double-A Biloxi this year and recorded a 1.93 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in 18.2 innings. The 27-year-old is no longer regarded as a top prospect following his slew of injuries, but he could reach the majors at some point if he can remain healthy. Kirby will report to Double-A Altoona going forward.
