ImpactMcKenzie suffered a teres major muscle strain in his final Cactus League start this spring and wound up missing the first two months of the 2023 regular season, but he's ready to rock now following three minor-league rehab outings with Triple-A Columbus. The young right-hander broke out to the tune of a 2.96 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 190:44 K:BB over 191.1 regular-season innings last year with Cleveland.

Cal Quantrill - IL stint comingQuantrill will be placed on the 15-day injured list Friday due to right shoulder inflammation, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

ImpactQuantrill's shoulder injury could help explain his recent struggles, as he allowed eight runs through 4.1 innings during his last start Tuesday. He received an injection Thursday and will be shut down for a few days before beginning a throwing program. Quantrill's move to the IL will make room for Aaron Civale (oblique) to return Friday.

ImpactMiami selected Enright away from Cleveland during the Rule 5 Draft back in December, but he was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma soon after and the Marlins ultimately designated him for assignment this past Sunday following a nine-appearance rehab stint between their Double-A and Triple-A affiliates. The 26-year-old right-hander has yet to pitch in a major-league game.
