Progressive Field, Cleveland, OH
Hanser Alberto - Out again ThursdayAlberto (shoulder) remains out of the lineup Thursday versus the Tigers.
ImpactAlberto appeared off the bench Tuesday in Cleveland, but he hasn't started a game since Sunday as he nurses some left shoulder soreness. Romy Gonzalez will start at second base and bat eighth Thursday in Detroit.

Luis Robert Jr. - Returns to lineup ThursdayRobert (hip) is back in the lineup Thursday at Detroit.
ImpactRobert will start in center field and bat third versus the Tigers and right-hander Alex Faedo after missing Wednesday's series finale against the Guardians due to a hip cramp. The 25-year-old has been lighting it up so far in May and can hopefully pick up right where he left off.

Hunter Gaddis - Draws another startGaddis is scheduled to start Sunday's game against the Cardinals at Progressive Field.
ImpactThough Aaron Civale (oblique) is available on normal rest Sunday and built up to 69 pitches in his latest rehab start at Triple-A Columbus, the Guardians seem to be leaning toward having him make another start in the minors prior to bringing him back from the 15-day injured list. As a result, Gaddis will get the opportunity to build on his strong showing in his return to the big leagues Monday, when he tossed six scoreless innings in a win over the White Sox. With Civale closing in on a return and Triston McKenzie (shoulder) not much further behind, Gaddis still appears likely to head to the bullpen or get optioned to Triple-A after Sunday's start.
