Former Heisman Trophy winner and first round NFL Draft pick Tim Tebow is already showing life in professional baseball

Can you make this stuff up? Many saw Tim Tebow’s ambitions of playing professional baseball as a publicity stunt. Then he held a workout for major league teams and signed with the New York Mets organization.

In his first professional baseball game, Tebow launched the FIRST pitch he saw to the opposite field for a home run.

Nope, you can’t make this stuff up.

I also believe Tim Tebow has the longest bio for any Gulf Coast League (aka instructional/rookie ball) for any player in history.

More from NFL Mocks

They even gave a highlight of his short-lived NFL career:

NFL career was highlighted by his 2011 season in Denver when he won the team’s starting QB role and led the Broncos to their first AFC West title and first playoff appearance since 2005… was traded by the Broncos to the New York Jets after the 2011 season when Denver opted to sign Peyton Manning… was released by the Jets on April 29, 2013 after the team drafted Geno Smith… signed a two-year contract with the Patriots on June 11, 2013 but was cut on Aug. 31, 2013… signed a one-year contract with the Eagles on April 20, 2015 following a two-season absence but was released by Philadelphia on Sept. 5… was hired by ESPN on Dec. 30, 2013.

A lot of that sounds great if you were someone who had never heard of Tim Tebow.

We will most likely never see Tim Tebow play in a Major League Baseball game, which is probably for the best.
