ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) The Oakland Raiders have promoted safety Tevin McDonald from the practice squad to the active roster.

The team made the move Saturday. McDonald is eligible to play on Sunday against Baltimore.

Oakland is thin at safety with starter Nate Allen out with a knee injury and Charles Woodson questionable with a shoulder injury.

McDonald was originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington in May. He was waived at the end of the preseason and then added to the practice squad.
