Plaxico Burress: The Steelers are the most dangerous team in the AFC

The Pittsburgh Steelers entered their game against the Cleveland Browns on November 20th at 4-5, having lost four games in a row to squander a fantastic 4-1 start to the season. Since then, Pittsburgh has won four straight to move back into the playoff picture, and on Sunday running back Le'Veon Bell had one of the best individual games of the season, rushing for 236 yards and three touchdowns in snowy Buffalo.

On Undisputed Monday, former Steelers wide receiver Plaxico Burress said that he thinks the Steelers are primed for a deep run in the playoffs.

“I believe that the Pittsburgh Steelers are probably the most dangerous team in the AFC right now. For one, because they have, offensive, guys who have been there - to the Super Bowl. You look at Ben [Roethlisberger], Antonio Brown… arguably the best wide receiver in all of football.

And then you have Le’Veon Bell. I turned my phone on yesterday when I got off a plane and I looked at this guy’s numbers and I said ‘what happened?’

…. Defensively, they’re young, but they have some guys who are coming of age. Artie Burns is playing really well, everbody knows about [Ryan] Shazier.

I just think that the Pittsburgh Steelers, they’ve been there before. They’re not going to say a lot, they’re just going to keep going about their business methodically, and somebody’s going to look up a few weeks from now and be playing the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship game."
