Texans WR Nate Washington eager to face his former team
With the Texans set to welcome the Tennessee Titans to town on Sunday, Houston wide receiver Nate Washington said he's looking forward to the chance to go up against his former team,
Washington spent six seasons with the Titans before signing with the Texans as a free agent in April.
“It’s obvious excitement, especially when you spend some time with the locker room for more than one year," Washington said, per the team's official website. "It’s obvious excitement there. Obviously, I have still been talking to a lot of those guys."
The 11-year veteran posted the best season of his career with the Titans in 2011, catching 74 passes for 1,023 yards and seven touchdowns.
Washington caught nine passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns in Houston's loss to the Miami Dolphins last week.
