Drew Brees believes his young receivers are ready to step up

Published May. 21, 2015 12:43 a.m. ET

The New Orleans Saints may have traded away both Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills, but Drew Brees is still confident in his wide receivers.

According to Brett Martel of AP Sports, Brees believes that the young receivers on the Saints can help their offense remain as one of the best in the NFL in 2015.

''I think the message that was sent to our young skill position players is that we feel like we have the right tools in the building,'' Brees told the AP on Wednesday, referring to New Orleans' draft selections. ''Our young receivers have some great opportunities.''

Obviously names like Brandin Cooks and Josh Hill both come to mind, but Martel also points out receivers Brandon Coleman and Seantavius Jones as well.

One thing that's certain is that the passing game in New Orleans will feature some new leaders in 2015.
