Derrick Rose's ridiculously bright Christmas shoes might be a health risk

The NBA's annual Christmas Day extravaganza means two things: basketball from the moment you wake up until the moment the egg nog takes you to peaceful slumber; and players wearing ridiculous, holiday-inspired sneakers.

In the first game of the day featuring the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks, Derrick Rose set the Christmas shoe standard with an astoundingly bright colorway of his signature Adidas D Rose 7. (WARNING: If you're sensitive to bright lights, you might not want to scroll down any further. Truly, Rose's shoes are ludicrous.)

That tweet doesn't quite do the shoes justice, though. Computer, enhance:

Nope! We went too far. De-enhance! De-enhance!

No, computer! I said, "De-enhance!" Why have you forsaken me?

All jokes aside, these are pretty clean, and that last image does a nice job of giving a look at the shoes when they're not reflecting all of the lights in the arena. We can't wait to see the rest of the awesome kicks on Christmas Day.
