Published Apr. 15, 2013 1:00 a.m. ET

The Boston Celtics' home game against the Indiana Pacers scheduled for Tuesday night has been canceled because of the Boston Marathon bombings.

The NBA said Monday that the game will not be rescheduled.

The Celtics and Pacers already have clinched playoff berths and are locked into certain seedings in the Eastern Conference.

Two bombs exploded in the packed streets near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday.
