Watch Tim Weah's wonder goal as the US U-17s advance to the quarterfinals of the U-17 World Cup with a 5-0 win

It hasn't quite been a week since the US men's national team crashed out of the World Cup, and you're still down. I know, I'm bummed, too. But here's something that might cheer you up.

The under-17 men's squad is into the quarterfinals of the U-17 World Cup in India thanks to a hat trick from Tim Weah - yup, that Weah, as in George Weah's son. The US added two more to Weah's hat trick in a 5-0 thrashing of Paraguay on Monday, but it was Weah's second goal that has everyone talking.

Drifting to the left, Weah wrong-footed his defender with a calm cut back on his right foot before unleashing a perfectly weighted shot into the top corner of the net. It's tough to say what was more impressive, the sheer power of the strike or the accuracy bending the ball around another defender and the goalkeeper for the score.

The US will now take on the winner of England and Japan in the quarterfinal round of the U-17 World Cup on Oct. 21.
