VIDEO: Jets' rookie WR Devin Smith pulls off backflip catch

When the New York Jets drafted wide receiver Devin Smith out of the Ohio State University, they added the best deep threat in the college game -- a nice weapon for Geno Smith to have. The Jets knew he was a big-play receiver that can break one for a touchdown on any given play.

What they didn't know was that he could do this:

Sure, we've seen that catch before. And a guy that plays in the same stadium for the "other" team has made some great catches in his young career (I'm talking about you, Odell Beckham Jr.), but it's still insanely impressive. Not to mention, Smith made a "Beckham catch" while at OSU, one which he calls better than Beckham's.

See for yourself and you be the judge.

That's the guy Smith will be throwing deep balls to all season. Not bad, huh.
