Colin Cowherd reveals how many NFL QBs he'd take over Cam Newton
Cam Newton has started in the Super Bowl. He's won the NFL's MVP award. Yet Colin Cowherd isn't convinced the Carolina Panthers quarterback is actually one of the game's elite signal-callers.
On Thursday's episode of "The Herd" on FS1, Cowherd played a round of "Would you rather?" to break down which NFL quarterbacks he'd rather have than Newton from this point forward. Newton finished at No. 14 on Cowherd's list, behind guys like Aaron Rodgers (of course), Andrew Luck (eh, maybe), Carson Wentz (we all fall in love with potential), and even Jimmy Garoppolo.
Which QBs would Cowherd take Newton over, though? How about Kirk Cousins, Tyrod Taylor, Andy Dalton, Brock Osweiler, Alex Smith, Ryan Tannehill, Drew Brees, Eli Manning, Jared Goff, Tony Romo, ... and the one, the only Tom Brady. Check out the video above for Cowherd's explanation on each of his choices, then weigh in below with your opinion on Newton.
