Ryan: Tyrod Taylor 'should be able to play,' unsure of Mario Williams

Late in the game on Monday night, Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor injured his shoulder, though he never missed a play. After the loss, head coach Rex Ryan addressed the injury somewhat, saying he has "no idea" if he'd be able to play this week.

On Tuesday, Ryan was on WGR 550 with Mike Schopp and expressed a bit more optimism regarding his quarterback. Ryan said Taylor "should be able to play" against the Kansas City Chiefs, which is better than him hoping he can.

Aside from a few missed throws, Taylor played well against the New England Patriots. He completed 20-of-36 passes for 233 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions while under constant pressure form the Patriots.

In addition to Taylor's injury, Ryan addressed a couple of other hurt players. Mario Williams left the game with a foot injury and was unable to return, and Ryan said it's "too early to tell" if he'll be able to go on Sunday. Guard John Miller also left the game, and Ryan expects him to sit out this week due to a high ankle sprain.
