Each year, the Daytona 500-winning team is forced to give up their race car so it can be put on display at the Daytona 500 Experience museum adjacent to Daytona International Speedway.

Once a new 500 champion is crowned, they get it back.

It was out with the old and in with the new after Sunday's thrilling, as Kurt Busch and his Stewart-Haas Racing team had to forfeit their winning No. 41 Ford Fusion until the conclusion of the 2018 Daytona 500.

But that was good news for Denny Hamlin, as he gets back the No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota he drove to victory in the 2016 running of the Great American Race.

And according to FOX NASCAR pit reporter Jamie Little, Hamlin has found the perfect "home" for it.
