Issac McBride's 23 points lead Oral Roberts over Texas Southern 65-63

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Issac McBride scored 23 points as Oral Roberts beat Texas Southern 65-63 on Tuesday night.

Jonathan Cisse's 3-pointers gave Texas Southern a 63-62 lead with 44 seconds left. DeShang Weaver made a pair of free throws with 30 seconds to go and Kareem Thompson made 1 of 2 from the line with five seconds left to seal it for Oral Roberts.

McBride was 7-of-16 shooting, including 5 for 8 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 4 from the line for the Golden Eagles (2-3). Jailen Bedford scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Weaver finished with 13 points while adding eight rebounds and three blocks.

Deon Stroud scored 20 points for the Tigers (0-5). Texas Southern also got 10 points, four assists and two steals from Cisse. Kenny Hunter also had 10 points and two blocks.
