Steph Curry defends his ridiculed new shoes, thinks they're 'fire'

Let this be a word of warning to Golden State Warriors opponents in the future: if Stephen Curry releases a new shoe the day before a game, and if the internet relentlessly mocks that shoe, expect the MVP to come out and light the world on fire.

The "Chef" Curry 2 Low was the subject of a seemingly endless stream of dad jokes earlier this week, but they didn't bother Curry, who said after a Game 4 win on Friday that he found the jokes kind of funny:

Golden State will be at home for Monday's Game 5, so there won't be any excuse. We're calling your bluff, Steph. Bring out the dad shoes, at least for warmups, and silence the haters.
