Ray Allen golfs with President Obama, but where will he hoop it up?

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 7:04 p.m. ET

Ray Allen is currently a free agent, but he doesn't seem to be worrying about finding a new NBA team for the 2014-15 season.

The veteran guard played a round of golf in Martha's Vineyard on Saturday with President Barack Obama, as well as Ahmad Rashad and Cyrus Walker.

Allen spent the last two seasons with LeBron James and the Miami Heat.

He played a key role in the Heat winning the 2012 NBA Finals in seven games over the San Antonio Spurs, a series highlighted by his clutch 3-point shot at the end of Game 6.

It's still unclear whether Allen will retire or return for a 19th pro season, though ESPN reported, citing a source with knowledge of the situation, that Allen will be back.
