14-year-old Steph Curry goes one-on-one, predicts his NBA future

It might come as a surprise, but even at 14 years old, Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry had the skills and confidence that one might expect from a future NBA MVP candidate.

An episode of "Off The Hardwood" -- a Youtube series -- focusing on Dell Curry recently emerged as a rare glimpse into the superstar's basketball life as a teen. We're treated to a taste of a one-on-one game between Steph and his younger brother Seth (yeah, Steph -- currently 26 -- is over two years older than Seth . . . and he was better than little brother back then, too), who currently plays for the Erie Bayhawks of the NBA's D-League.

Host Paul Jones wondered if the Curry brothers would be more interested in following in their father's footsteps on the baseball diamond, but Steph knew way back then basketball would pay the bills.

"It was more my sport," he said. "I wanted to practice it more and try and make it to the pros if I had a chance."

We don't expect he'll second-guess that decision any time soon. Watch the whole video below:
