Nebraska transfer Ed Morrow is headed to Marquette after two seasons with the Cornhuskers.

The 6-foot-7 forward will sit out the 2017-18 season due to NCAA transfer rules and has two years of eligibility remaining.

“He has already proven to be a terrific player at the collegiate level, and throughout the process I was impressed by his maturity and desire to become the best player he can be in a Golden Eagle uniform," head coach Steve Wojciechowski said in a statement.

A highly touted prospect following a standout career at Chicago's Simeon Career Academy, Morrow appeared in 54 games at Nebraska, starting 19 games while averaging 6.4 points and 5.2 rebounds.
