Michael Bisping tells Irish fans to shut up during UFC 204 presser

LAS VEGAS — Michael Bisping has a rabid fan base of his own, but he may not be the most popular fighter in Ireland right now.

The middleweight champion appeared at the UFC 204 pre-fight press conference, which took place just two hours ahead of the UFC 202 weigh-ins where Conor McGregor was set to appear for one final face off with opponent Nate Diaz.

Irish fans were out in force chanting and yelling in support of McGregor even during the UFC 204 press conference and the crowd got even louder when Bisping was asked his first question.

It didn't take long for Bisping to turn his attention to the loud and raucous crowd, which only made them chant and scream that much more.

"Shut the (expletive) up! I'll give you something to boo," Bisping shouted.  "When I knock this (expletive) out, you can boo that. You can (expletive) boo that! Sit down. Quiet down, we've got a press conference."

Of course, Bisping had a smile creep across his face while shouting at the Irish crowd so he was clearly enjoying the moment as much as he was giving them a piece of his mind.

If this altercation was any indication, the Irish fans will be at a fevered pitch by the time McGregor takes the stage at 4 p.m. ET while the other half of the crowd supports Diaz ahead of the UFC 202 main event.
