Philbin: DE Cameron Wake's lack of production tied to hamstring

No one on the Miami Dolphins' defense has played particularly well this season. Ndamukong Suh has reportedly gone "off script" and ignored coaches' play calls, leading to several questions about the team's defense.

Along with Suh, star defensive end Cameron Wake has gone largely unnoticed through two games. He has yet to record a single tackle this season and missed the entire second half of Sunday's game due to a hamstring injury.

Head coach Joe Philbin defended Wake, saying he was on the sidelines for the second half due to the injury, and that it was impacting his poor performance.

Wake was a question to play at all on Sunday, so him being on the field at all was somewhat of a surprise. He's a big part of the Dolphins' defense and if Miami hopes to stop Tyrod Taylor and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, they'll need to pressure the quarterback -- and it begins with Wake.
