Charles Barkley's recent criticism of LeBron James drew a fiery response from The King himself, but even after James criticized Barkley for some of the off-court incidents he experienced during his Hall of Fame career, Barkley stood by his comments in a Thursday night appearance on TNT.

Barkley's comments came in the wake of LeBron publicly requesting that the franchise get him some more help, even though he's already playing alongside two other All-Stars while his Cavaliers sit at the top of the standings in the East,

On Friday's episode of "The Herd," Colin Cowherd picked a side, and explained why he believes Barkley's remarks were absolutely right.

COLIN: "I have no problem with what Charles is saying. I've got Charles Barkley's back on this. Listen, Kyrie Irving, in my opinion, is actually more talented than Steph Curry. Yeah, I said it. I think he is. I think he's one of the most offensively gifted point guards I've ever seen. In fact, I would put him in the Isiah Thomas class. He's a first-ballot Hall of Famer. He's sick talented. Kevin Love is a 6'10" guy who hits threes. Tristan Thompson's a very solid B-to-B-plus player who can push them around. I back Charles on this one."
