Fernando Alonso calls Jenson Button at start of Monaco GP

McLaren F1 driver Fernando Alonso - who is racing in Indianapolis this weekend - called his replacement driver Jenson Button just moments before the start of Sunday’s Monaco GP.

“Take care of my car,” said Alonso over the radio, as Button was pulling into position on pit road following a 15-place grid penalty.

“I’m going to pee in your seat,” Button replied.

Button and Alonso were teammates at McLaren in 2016. Button is taking a sabbatical from the sport in 2016 although very few expect him to return full-time to the sport.

Meanwhile, Alonso is racing in the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, and will start from fifth in his first oval race.

Unfortunately for Alonso, Button didn't do a great job of taking care of his car as he crashed with Pascal Wehrlein at Portier. Both cars were out on the spot.
