2017 MLB Draft Live Post

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 12:02 p.m. ET

Stick here for all your MLB draft instant analysis on opening night of the draft!

Last season, we at Call to the Pen had a live draft thread on the first night of the draft, and it was one of the most commented posts of the 2016 calendar year. We'll do that again this season, and as long as the internet agrees and allows it to work, CTTP contributor Benjamin Chase will be providing instant analysis on each pick!

This year, we've offered profiles of players in the draft, multiple mock drafts, and a recent series covering the picks in the 2000s at each draft slot in the top five overall. If there is anything you would like to see covered at CTTP in the future in draft coverage, please feel free to let us know!

The final mock draft is linked below if you want to see just how close Ben came to the eventual picks. Otherwise, sit back, enjoy the coverage on MLB Network and online, and join in the discussion below!
