Chiefs UDFA CB and local product Bausby breaks collarbone
De'Vante Bausby would've been a fan favorite at the start of camp.
Instead, the rookie cornerback and local product will have to wait after breaking his collarbone at Chiefs OTAs, according to ESPN.
Also for #Chiefs, bad news for rookie CB De'Vante Bausby. Broke his collarbone in Tuesday practice. Bausby is from KC and went to Pitt St— Adam Teicher (@adamteicher) June 10, 2015
Collarbone injuries are tough to predict. If Bausby misses a projected two-month span, though, he'd be back in time for the second week of training camp in St. Joseph, Mo.
It's a small consolation prize for the rookie who played high school ball just minutes away from Arrowhead Stadium. But it's a consolation prize for Bausby nonetheless.
