Warriors' Stephen Curry attends Giants game, greeted with M-V-P chants

Lately the M-V-P chants at AT&T Park have been for Buster Posey, but on Friday night they were for Stephen Curry, fresh off leading the Golden State warriors to the NBA Finals. Curry, along with his family (but not 2-year-old Riley Curry), sat by the Giants’ dugout and witnessed the Giants beat the Braves, 4-2. Per the San Francisco Chronicle, Posey talked about Curry’s presence at the game:
“There was extra electricity. Everyone was excited he was here,” Posey said. “It was neat. It was nice of him to be here. I got a chance to speak to him quickly before the game.”
It turns out Bay Area athletes are supportive of each other. According to the Chronicle, Curry was motivated to attend a Giants game after seeing outfielder Hunter Pence at a Warriors game:
“He wanted to return the favor,” Giants CEO Larry Baer said. “We offered him and his family a suite, but he wanted to sit” in the crowd.
He gets the crowd going "0 to ? real quick" https://t.co/6D6QOrdaDX
