BOSTON (AP) Jake Allen stopped 32 shots for his fifth shutout, Vladimir Tarasenko and Robby Fabbri scored third-period goals and the St. Louis Blues cooled off the Boston Bruins with a 2-0 victory Tuesday night.
It was only the second regulation loss in 16 games for Boston (11-2-3). St. Louis posted its fifth win in seven games.
The Bruins had won six of their last eight at home.

Boston goalie Tuukka Rask made 27 saves, but lost in regulation for the first time in 11 starts after going 8-0-2.
WILD 2, CANADIENS 1
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) – Jason Pominville and Charlie Coyle scored to help Minnesota hand Montreal its fifth straight loss.
Daniel Carr spoiled Darcy Kuemper's shutout bid by scoring with 7:14 remaining. Kuemper and the Wild clamped down from there, dropping the Canadiens to 1-9 in their last 10 games.
Kuemper made 24 saves, giving regular goalie Devan Dubnyk a rest after the Wild lost 6-3 to Dallas the night before.
Mike Condon stopped 20 shots for the Canadiens, outscored 19-5 during their losing streak. They have 15 goals in the last 10 games.
RANGERS 3, DUCKS 2, OT
NEW YORK (AP) – Mats Zuccarello scored a power-play goal at 2:37 of overtime and the slumping New York Rangers beat Anaheim for their fourth win in 15 games.
Derrick Brassard had two goals and an assist as the Rangers snapped a three-game losing streak. Henrik Lundqvist made 17 saves.
Corey Perry and Rickard Rakell scored for the Ducks, who lost their second in as many nights and for the fourth time in five games. John Gibson stopped 19 shots.
CANUCKS 2, LIGHTNING 1
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) – Daniel Sedin scored the go-ahead goal in the third period, Jacob Markstrom made 26 saves and the road-weary Vancouver Canucks downed Tampa Bay.
Sven Baertschi also scored for the Canucks, who finished their road trip 2-3-1. Vancouver, which had one power play, allowed just one goal on 10 short-handed opportunities.
The Lightning got a goal from Jonathan Marchessault.
Canucks captain Henrik Sedin contributed an assist after missing two games with a lower-body injury.
DEVILS 4, RED WINGS 3
DETROIT (AP) – Kyle Palmieri had a goal and an assist, Cory Schneider made 25 saves and New Jersey defeated Detroit.
Jordin Tootoo, David Schlemko and Sergey Kalinin also scored for the Devils. They had goals on three straight shots midway through the first period, ending Jimmy Howard's night, and the Red Wings never caught up.
Dylan Larkin, Mike Green and Riley Sheahan scored for Detroit.
PANTHERS 2, SENATORS 1
SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) – Aleksander Barkov scored the winning goal in a shootout to lift the streaking Florida Panthers over Ottawa.
Brandon Pirri also scored a shootout goal for Florida. Roberto Luongo stopped both Ottawa attempts to give the Panthers their fifth straight win. Florida has won 11 of its past 14.
Corban Knight scored in regulation for the Panthers, and Luongo made 15 saves. Jaromir Jagr had an assist.
Mark Stone scored for Ottawa, and Craig Anderson stopped 39 shots. The Senators have lost five of their past seven, and five straight on the road.
