Ryan Pulock - Scores Tuesday Pulock scored a goal in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Senators.
Impact Pulock opened the scoring in the second period, skating his way into the slot before beating Kevin Mandolese with a wrist shot. It's Pulock's first goal since Dec. 23 and just his third point in his last 18 games. The 28-year-old defenseman plays significant minutes on the Islanders' top pair, but his offensive production is limited by a lack of power-play minutes. Pulock is up to three goals and 15 assists through 57 games this season.

Zach Parise - Takes spin on top line Parise was moved to the top line with Mathew Barzal and Bo Horvat during the loss Tuesday to the Senators, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.
Impact Parise took the place of Josh Bailey, who was demoted to the third line. Whether or not Parise remains on the top line for the game Thursday versus the Penguins is unknown, but coach Lane Lambert may continue to mix and match as he tries to find a complement to Horvat and Barzal. Parise has 14 goals and seven assists in 57 games for the Isles this season.

Nick Holden - Moves to injured reserve Holden (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, per CapFriendly.
Impact Holden's absence will last another three games at a minimum after he missed Tuesday's contest versus the Islanders. The 35-year-old defenseman doesn't have an official timeline to return. Jacob Larsson should stay in the lineup while Holden is out.
