Ryan McGregor - Returns to RoadrunnersMcGregor was demoted to AHL Tucson on Tuesday.

ImpactMcGregor failed to break into the lineup during his stint in the NHL with the team opting instead to use a seventh defenseman. The 24-year-old center has produced a mere two goals and two assists in 19 minor-league contests this season. In a corresponding move, Zach Sanford was called up from the Roadrunners.

ImpactCooley hasn't found much consistency since early November -- he has seven points and a minus-14 rating over his last 17 contests. The 19-year-old center had a chance to fill in as the top-line center with Barrett Hayton (upper body) out, but he's been on the fourth line over the last couple of games. With the Coyotes rolling 11 forwards and seven defensemen, that change in role hasn't dramatically altered Cooley's usage. Overall, the rookie has 15 points, 45 shots on net and a minus-11 rating through his first 27 appearances.

Zach Sanford - Promoted to NHLSanford was called up from AHL Tucson on Tuesday.

ImpactSanford has played in just one game for the Coyotes this season in which he recorded one assist, one hit and two PIM in 7:24 of ice time versus the Kings on Oct. 27. The 2013 second-round pick hasn't exactly been producing in the minors, notching a meager four points in 16 games for the Roadrunners.
