ImpactThe 30-year-old netminder kept things relatively close through the first 40 minutes, allowing only one goal in each of the first two periods, but the final frame was an utter disaster for the Ducks. Gibson has coughed up exactly six goals in three straight starts, and his season has gone completely off the rails since he posted a shutout in Ottawa on Feb. 15 -- over his last eight outings, he's gone 2-4-1 with a ghastly 5.06 GAA and .851 save percentage.

Nikolaj Ehlers - Two helpers against AnaheimEhlers notched two assists, one on the power play, in Friday's 6-0 win over the Ducks.

ImpactThe 28-year-old winger had a hand in tallies by Nate Schmidt in the second period and Dylan DeMelo in the third. It's Ehlers's first multi-point performance since Feb. 27, but he's been getting on the scoresheet consistently of late, collecting three goals and 11 points over the last 13 contests. He's one goal short of reaching 20 for the seventh time, and three points shy of his fifth career 50-point campaign.

Dylan DeMelo - Two-point effort FridayDeMelo produced a goal and an assist while adding three hits, two PIM, two shots on net and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 6-0 win over the Ducks.

ImpactThe 30-year-old blueliner snapped a 63-game goal drought with his tally early in the third period, as DeMelo's only other goal this season came in Winnipeg's second game Oct. 14. Despite the inconsistent offensive contributions he's having a strong all-around campaign, reaching triple-digit hits (127) and blocked shots (109) for the third straight season while posting a career-high plus-32 rating that puts him fourth in the NHL.

Tyler Toffoli - Lights lamp twice against DucksToffoli scored two goals, one on the power play, in Friday's 6-0 win over Anaheim.

ImpactBoth tallies came in the third period as the Jets turned the game into a rout. The goals were Toffoli's first points in three games since being traded to Winnipeg, and the 31-year-old seems to be settling in with new linemates Sean Monahan and Nikolaj Ehlers. Toffoli also led the Jets in ice time with the man advantage, which bodes well for his fantasy value. He sits two markers short of the third 30-goal campaign of his career, and last year's career-high 34 remains just within striking distance as Winnipeg has 16 games left on its schedule.

Mason Appleton - Powers up against AnaheimAppleton netted a power-play goal in Friday's 6-0 win over the Ducks.

ImpactAppleton's power-play tally was the final goal of the game as the Jets made it look easy in this home contest. However, we can consider the Appleton goal to be rather clutch for DFS players that took a chance on him, as there were only two games on Friday's slate, with the other one being a Kings 5-0 shutout to the detriment of the Blackhawks. It's probably worth turning your attention to Appleton, as the versatile third-line forward has two goals and five assists through eight March contests.

Laurent Brossoit - Records second consecutive shutoutBrossoit required only 21 saves in Friday's 6-0 shutout win over the Ducks.

ImpactBrossoit has five straight wins and he's fueled by back-to-back shutouts, starting with his March 8 appearance against a Kraken team that managed only 17 shots. While it's only natural that he would play second fiddle to Connor Hellebuyck -- a four-time NHL All-Star who's making a serious bid for the (second) Vezina Trophy win in his illustrious career -- there's no denying that Brossoit has been an excellent streaming option based on a robust 12-4-2 record and sparkling ratios, including a 1.99 GAA and .927 save percentage through 18 games.

Josh Morrissey - Lends helping hand on three goalsMorrissey recorded three assists, including two on the power play, in Friday's 6-0 shutout victory over the Ducks.

ImpactMorrissey can be a tough player to gauge on a per-game basis. While the top-pairing defenseman has been blanked offensively in 32 games this season, he's earned exactly one point 18 times, and there have been 16 box-score multipliers from Morrissey in 2023-24. On a macro level, he's very much among the elite blueliners based on eight goals, 48 assists and a plus-22 rating through 66 contests. The alternate captain is earning $6.25 million AAV on an eight-year deal that takes him through the 2027-28 season.
