WWE Superstar Kane setting stage for mayoral run in Knox County, Tennessee

He's been a dentist, a menace and part of the Authority in WWE. Now, in real life, Glenn Jacobs is getting ready to run for mayor in Knox County, Tennessee.

Per WCYB:

Glenn Jacobs, the towering insurance man also known as "Kane" the professional wrestler, is moving another step closer to running for Knox County mayor.

Jacobs, who runs Jacobs Insurance Associates in Halls, has filed paperwork with the Knox County Election Commission appointing a political treasurer, Brian Carl. He identifies himself as a Republican.

Appointing a political treasurer is yet another step toward formally running, he said Thursday.
