The Clippers added some backcourt depth to their roster Monday by signing former Lakers guard Sasha Vujacic to a 10-day contract.
The 6-foot-7 Vujacic, who passed a physical last week, is expected to be available tonight when the Clippers travel to Denver to face the Nuggets on Prime Ticket.
Vujacic, a first-round pick by the Lakers in the 2004 NBA Draft, hasn’t played in the NBA since 2011. He played from 2011 to 2013 for Anadolu Efes in Turkey, averaging 9.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 40 games.
In eight seasons, most with the Lakers, Vujacic appeared in 476 games (29 starts) and averaged 5.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists. He won league titles with the Lakers in 2009 and 2010, appearing in 65 games.
