Beavers formally announce addition of QB Garretson

Over a month after the news was first reported, former Utah State QB Darell Garretson's move to Oregon State has been made official.

OSU announced on Monday that Garretson has indeed become a member of the football team and will be a walk-on at the school under first-year coach Gary Andersen.

Garretson will not be eligible to play in 2015 due to NCAA rules. At Utah State, Garretson started seven games as a freshman in 2013 and five games in 2014 before suffering a season-ending injury.
