Brown led 83-79 with under a minute left when Hart connected for a 3-pointer and, after a Brown turnover, made two free throws with 11 seconds left. Another turnover, Brown's 19th, ended the game.

Cedric Kuakumensah had 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Jason Massey added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Bears (3-7). Steven Spieth added 16 points.

Hart scored with 12 seconds left in regulation to complete a 7-0 Marist run over the final 1:25. Hart had a last-second basket erased after the officials reversed themselves and called him for an offensive foul.
