The March 29-30 series has been tabbed “Big League Weekend”.

The series marks the first baseball games in the dome. The March 29 game starts at 7:05 and the March 30 game at 1:05. Tickets go on sale Nov. 30 and range from $10-$55.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to be playing in the first-ever baseball games in the Alamodome,” team president Nolan Ryan said in a statement. “We appreciate the support of everyone involved from the city, the Missions and the Padres as well.”

A custom field is being built for the series, along with fencing, padding, walls, dugouts and foul poles. The park dimensions will also be enticing, with the wall in right field just 280 feet from home plate with a 16-foot high wall.
