Watch Memphis Depay turn and score an unbelievable rocket from midfield

Olympique Lyon crushed Toulouse 4-0 on Sunday, and the very best of all the goals in the match -- and probably the best goal of the entire weekend -- came from one Memphis Depay.

Having just arrived in France in January after leaving Manchester United, Memphis finally opened his Lyon account on last week, and he added another two to his total against Toulouse this week. But it was his second goal on Sunday that might earn him Puskas recognition.

We've seen some midfield crackers, but it's the build-up to this one that really makes it special. It's not as if Memphis picks the ball up in his own half, takes his time and measures it. He takes it on the turn, dips his shoulder, and doesn't even seem to look as he wallops this one.

He strikes it so well, it nearly even kisses the crossbar as it drops into the net.

It's perfect.

UPDATE: Depay's goal has just been named Ligue 1 goal of the season with 42% of the fan vote.
