Watch ex-Germany goalkeeper Tim Wiese make and win his WWE debut

Former Germany goalkeeper Tim Wiese finally made his highly anticipated professional wrestling debut on Thursday night, and he looked like he'd never done anything else in winning his first fight.

Operating under the highly original wrestling name “The Machine,” Wiese teamed up with two established stars on the European WWE circuit, Cesaro and Sheamus, and came out on top in a tag team match against Bo Dallas and the Shining Stars. Here's the full fight for your viewing pleasure:

The 34-year-old longtime Werder Bremen keeper had been working vigorously towards his goal of stepping into the ring since retiring from soccer in 2014. He packed on an obscene amount of muscle in two years – 88 pounds, to be exact – and apparently he’s already got the trash talking down pat, too.

“That was great -- but tonight was just the start, a warm up match against kids. Now I want men,” Wiese quipped after his successful debut in Munich.

All Wiese needs to work on now is getting a proper wrestling outfit. This just ain’t gonna cut it.
