The first goal of the new Premier League season was a stupendous bicycle kick

It didn’t take long for the first magical moment of the new Premier League season. Adama Diamonde scored the league's first goal on a spectacular bicycle kick as Hull City produced a stunning 2-1 upset win over defending champions Leicester City.

Yup, that’s one way to get the new Premier League season rolling.

No reigning Premier League champion had ever lost their opening game of the season. Leicester struck back through a Riyad Mahrez penalty kick just two minutes into the second half, but Hull's Robert Snodgrass scored the winner just ten minutes later and the lowly Tigers hung on to take down Claudio Ranieri's men.

Given how wild and unpredictable the Premier League was last season, we shouldn't be surprised by how this one has begun. It's Hull for the title then, basically.
