They've had some close calls, but the heavily favored Americans are one win away from completing an undefeated run for Olympic gold at the Rio Games.

Team USA will face Serbia on Sunday in the gold-medal game at 2:45 p.m. ET/11:45 a.m. PT on NBC. You can watch online at NBCOlympics.com or on your mobile device or tablet using the NBC Sports app.

Kyrie Irving and Co. survived a serious rally, including a potential game-tying 3 in the final seconds, to beat Serbia 94-91 in the preliminary round. Serbia's Nikola Jokic had a game-high 25 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter. Irving led Team USA with 15.

The Americans knocked off Spain 82-76 in the semifinals, while Serbia cruised past Australia 87-61.

The U.S. has won the gold in five of the past six Olympics, getting the bronze in 2004.
