Still thick in his battle with leukemia, Craig Sager carved out some time to catch Team USA's tune-up game against Nigeria in Houston on Monday before the team heads to Rio for the Olympics.

Throughout his long career as one of the NBA's best sideline reporters, Sager has been known to rock ridiculously vibrant and unique suits as he performs his courtside duties. On Monday, though, he went with a more casual look as he took in the exhibition game donning a bright pink button-up.

Sager also received a standing ovation from the crowd at Toyota Center.

Then, following the Americans' win, Sager stopped by the locker room to wish the men good luck before they embarked on their trip to Brazil. It was an emotional visit, as Sager was embraced by the players who clearly hold him in high regard.

Though Sager has fought tirelessly to continue working while battling the cancer -- even reporting from the NBA playoffs while going through treatment sessions -- he won't be joining Team USA in Rio due to health concerns.
